The CC-AS Guard Dance Group
Our guard dancers perform with great enthusiasm, energy and joy. Many of them have been training and dancing with our club for several years.
Every carnival season, a new guard dance is rehearsed and presented to our audience. Their performances are an important part of our programme and delight carnival fans year after year.
One of the special highlights is the annual performance at the ceremonial key handover on 11 November at Leipzig City Hall. Their appearance on the large stage during Leipzig's Rose Sunday parade has also become a much-loved tradition.
