Right of Withdrawal for Ticket Sales
No statutory right of withdrawal for event tickets with a fixed date
As a general rule, there is no statutory 14-day right of withdrawal when purchasing admission tickets for events organised by 1. Karnevalsverein „CC-AS“ von 1981 e.V. Leipzig if the event is scheduled for a specific date or period.
The legal basis is Section 312g (2) No. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB). Under this provision, there is no right of withdrawal for contracts concerning services related to leisure activities where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.
What does this mean for your ticket order?
Once the ticket order has been completed, the contract for the booked admission tickets is binding. A change in your personal plans, being unable to attend or not attending the event therefore does not, as a general rule, give rise to a statutory right of withdrawal.
Before completing your order, please carefully check the event, date, time, number of tickets and ticket type.
Cancellation or changes to an event
Your statutory rights remain unaffected. This applies in particular if an event is cancelled or circumstances arise that may give rise to reimbursement claims or other rights under the applicable law.
Where necessary, information about the cancellation, rescheduling or significant alteration of an event will be provided using the contact details supplied when purchasing the tickets and/or via our website.
